Job Description
financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. You will prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. You will prepare forecasts and budgets. You will be responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures. You
will also assist accounting management in a variety of functions including general ledger support, account reconciliations, and various other assignments as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Complete Financial Statements thru Trial Balance.
- General Ledger maintenance, includes accrual entries, cash receipts and review for accuracy.
- Bank Statement Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Monthly, Annual and long term forecast.
- Time keeping and Payroll data reporting
- Provide data and reports to Leadership team.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
- Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects
- Consistently strives to improve processes and gain efficiencies, including participation in the testing
- of new accounting and other system functionality
- Financial management planning/budget and forecasting experience
- Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or pursuing
- Experience preparing financial statements thru trial balance.
- Quick books Enterprise accounting system experience or other ERP Accounting systems.
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, and IFRS
- Working knowledge of EVMS
- Experience using Adaptive for FP & A activities.
