Role: Data Analyst

Location:  Kharadi, Pune

We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Data Analyst to support enterprise-level initiatives in collaboration with the IT Systems Manager. This role requires a proven foundation in data mining, analysis, and reporting, and the ability to work multi-functionally with business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity across systems, dashboards, and reports, redefining sophisticated datasets into clear and actionable insights tailored to various customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage daily and weekly functional tasks, track outputs, detail internal processes, support issue resolution, mentor on corrective actions, and provide ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, trend identification, and data-driven recommendations to customers.
  • Support ongoing and new automation projects, provide technical system solutions for sophisticated challenges, and collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Implement data mining and manipulation tasks using SQL and Python, build ad-hoc reports, design dashboards and key performance metrics, and share actionable insights using Excel.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems, reports, and dashboards; support data provisioning from non-standard sources; and perform thorough testing and validation of data processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on resolving support tickets and implementing system improvements across platforms such as SAP, Salesforce CoE, Azure IAM, and Azure Infrastructure.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's/master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Software engineering/IT or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: SQL, Reporting Tool Preferred.
  • Experience: Should have an overall of 5-8 years of experience in the field of Data Analytics. A minimum of 2-3 years of extensive Power BI standard & custom visual development, design, wireframing, and storyboarding/storytelling experience.
  • Strong SQL knowledge required.
  • Experience with SLDC or Agile Methodology using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Experience with equivalent ETL and data science applications is good to have. Expert designer of information visualizations and dashboards.
  • Solid grasp of data analysis, modeling, report generation, and warehousing/data stores concepts.
  • Expert in selecting the right dashboard design and deployment method for business requirements.
  • Must have a high level of digital literacy with desktop and cloud-based efficiency software such as Office 365, Microsoft Office desktop applications, Microsoft Teams etc.
  • Experience in working with XSLT and XML.
  • Attention to Detail: Solid focus on data accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to detect patterns, generate creative solutions, and interpret sophisticated data sets for actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey sophisticated ideas clearly.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
