Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-
· Maximize achieve sales and profitability by consistently reviewing and appropriately editing product lines ensuring there is a balanced assortment in style, pattern, color, and silhouette
· Display strong assortment planning skills and the ability to clearly articulate and present seasonal strategies to management from a financial and product perspective
· Demonstrate a strong understanding of retail math and key metrics to support sales analysis and assortment planning
· Display strong in-season management skills including re-order, cancellations, markdown strategy and execution, inventory consolidation
· Support the Buyer by using store clusters and sku goals to build the right assortment for specific categories and geographical locations in support of the category/brand vision
· Ensure the product offered is right for the Skecher customer by analyzing sales and current trends to anticipate future product needs
· Support ecommerce new product launches by auditing website for accuracy and creating gift guides for key retail events
· Assist with Visual Merchandising floor sets during assortment planning
· Attend discussions on evaluating and adjusting future product. Provide input in line edit meetings
· Complete store visit and competitive shopping recap decks to stay on top of market shifts and trends
· Demonstrate presentation skills and participate in line showbacks to cross functional partners
· Provide clerical support, sample management, and other duties as assigned

· Must have a clear understanding of retail math skills, analytical, and excel skills.
· Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Strong communication skills; able to work in a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
The pay range for this role is $75,000-$90,000/yr USD.
