Job Description
Sika is looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join it’s growing team.
- Actively participate in the plants Sika SAFE Program.
- Review production schedules and estimate worker requirements to complete production assignment
- Analyzes production requirements and generates purchase orders for items.
- Places purchase orders and follows up to ensure timely delivery of items purchased.
- Interacts with vendors and the Purchasing Manager as needed.
- Generates production schedule establishing sequences and lead time for each operation to meet shipping dates according to customer orders.
- Plans and schedules workflow for department and operations according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Maintains MIN/MAX levels for designated items and adjust levels as required.
- Interacts with Production lead to determine status of assigned projects.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepare and maintain required production records, reports and files including daily production log, labor summaries, batch profiles, deviations from standards, cycle counts, etc.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and co-workers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Data entry skills – high volume and a high degree of accuracy.
- PC proficiency including spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
- SAP proficiency a must
- Self-motivated and able to establish and maintain effective working relations.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Must have 2+ years of experience
- Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance records.
