The Quality Control role is responsible for evaluating completed watch repairs to ensure they meet company and industry standards. This role ensures all watches are fully functional, properly assembled, and ready to be returned to customers. If repairs do not meet required standards, the watch is returned to the appropriate technician for further evaluation or correction.
Key Responsibilities
Watch Inspection & Testing:
Conduct thorough inspections of completed watch repairs.
Verify functionality, including movement accuracy, power reserve, and water resistance.
Identify and document defects, damages, or workmanship issues.
Standards & Compliance:
Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
Stay informed on evolving repair techniques, watch brands, and movements.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Communicate quality issues clearly to technicians and leadership.
Coordinate with sales, service, and customer support to improve customer satisfaction.
Workplace Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
Education: College degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience with mechanical and quartz watch movements
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with precision tools and testing equipment (timing machines, pressure testers, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
