Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace. 

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive Sierra’s competitive intelligence (CI) efforts with a strong focus on marketing strategy, messaging, and market understanding.

  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive research to inform product positioning, customer segmentation, and GTM strategy.

  • Develop and maintain CI assets like battlecards, win/loss insights, competitor summaries, and executive briefings.

  • Build scalable CI processes and tools to deliver timely, actionable insights across the company.

  • Support analyst relations efforts—supporting narrative development, briefing preparation, and relationship management.

  • Support pricing and packaging strategy through market benchmarking, competitive comparisons, and strategic recommendations.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Product Marketing, or Strategy roles—preferably in B2B SaaS or AI.

  • Strong grasp of marketing dynamics, market segmentation, and competitive positioning.

  • Hands-on experience managing analyst relations and shaping strategic narratives.

  • Proven ability to contribute to packaging and pricing strategies through competitive and market insights.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong executive presence.

  • Self-starter mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and building from scratch.

  • Exposure to global markets and awareness of international competitive dynamics.

  • Experience partnering with Sales Enablement to activate CI insights in the field.
