Siepe is looking for an enthusiastic software engineer to join our Order Management System (OMS) team. If you’re eager to build your technical skills, learn how trading systems work, and want to be part of a team that will mentor and support you, we’d love to hear from you.
\n- Help support and improve a critical trading system.
- Develop new features and enhancements for the trading system.
- Build and support integrations with third-party platforms and services using various different protocols.
- Work with APIs, databases, and messaging systems.
- Team up with senior engineers on projects and system enhancements.
- Pitch in during important times - sometimes staying late to make sure our clients' trading day finishes smoothly.
- Use AI tools to explore codebases and boost development efficiency.
- 0-2 yrs experience in .NET development, including proficiency with C#, ASP.NET Core.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related major.
- Comfortable with writing and debugging database SQL procedures, stored procedures, and queries with experience in relational database management systems.
- 0-2 years' experience in web application development using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar front-end technologies.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript a plus.
- Experience with Source Control, CI/CD a plus.
- Experience with CSS Frameworks a plus.
- Knowledge of or experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Financial services experience a plus (or a demonstrable interest in financial services).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team environment, and interact with end users.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- Self-motivated, self-starter, and challenge-seeker.
