Job Purpose
- Help leading brands navigate the marketplace and unlock future opportunities.
- Support the client consulting team and work directly with NIQ’s clients to bring Consumer Life data and insights to life.
- Develop high-quality reports that represent the voice of the consumer in the US and around the world.
- Support achieving and exceeding revenue targets through report and data insights delivery as well as high-quality client service.
- Support annual product planning, innovation, and delivery cycle.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Manager, you will primarily be focused on supporting the consulting team. Under the direction of senior members on the team, you will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate research findings into actionable recommendations. Specific responsibilities include:
- Assist team leaders and other consultants in preparation of in-depth client reports and analyses
- Handle client data and information requests with increasing levels of complexity
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of all NIQ Consumer Life products and services
- Perform secondary research in support of client and syndicated deliverables
- Provide feedback and support on customized and syndicated client deliverables
- Present insights and narratives directly to clients, internal audiences, or in thought leadership settings (either virtually or in-person)
- Provide basic training and guidance on NIQ Consumer Life products and tools to junior level support staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data insights, analytics, and fact-based consumer insight and recommendation delivery
- Knowledge of basic cross tabbing tools like SPSS, ASKIA, or Survey Reporter
- Ability to read and interpret data tabs
- Ability to create charts/presentations using Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to conduct data analysis for clients
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Detail-orientated and strong organization skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Thoughtful about society, popular culture, and consumer trends. Interested in learning about the world and how people behave.
Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $73,500.00 - $86,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
