Liability Adjuster

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex liability claims and deliver a best in market claims experience to our customers, whilst achieving the most cost-effective and timely outcomes in accordance with policies and procedures.

What are my accountabilities? 

  • Manage a portfolio of major and/or complex liability claims;

  • Review for continuous improvement across claims and quality assurance;

  • Provide technical support and feedback to the claims team;

  • Assist with coaching and training of team members;

  • Stay updated across regulatory changes and industry themes and insights;

  • Build and develop strong working relationships with our Clients;

  • Provide escalation point to team following complaints and/or technical queries;

  • Attendance at stakeholder meetings/conferences/phone calls when required.

About you:

  • Previous liability claims or legal experience;

  • Ability to manage complaints and disputed claims when required;

  • Understanding of insurance principles, policies, and regulations;

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;

  • The ability to analyse data, assess risks, and provide effective solutions;

  • Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.
