Requirements
We are recruiting PeopleSoft resources for the state of NY PeopleSoft system.
Resource will be based in either Albany, NY or NYC
Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain configuration/base tables and troubleshoot issues related to the functional module
- Research the impact of customizations and functionality when applying PeopleSoft patches, updates
- Elicit and document requirements and specifications from business users and subject matter experts
- Translate business requirements into a best fit within the PeopleSoft application
- Research new functionality released by Oracle PUM Images
- Mentor system analysts and provide leadership in projects and issue resolutions
- Develop and maintain business process workflows, Functional Requirements Documents, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and use cases
- Participate in PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager (PUM) and PeopleTools Upgrade research and implementation activities
- Conduct testing and QA activities
- Create business process models and identify business process improvements
- Define test scenarios based on requirements; create test scripts to prove each scenario through system testing
- Collaborate with the technical team in identifying and resolving issues related to the batch schedule and job
- Assess the impact on production schedule due to system outages
- Document and follow protocols for process failures
- Work with developers and system admins to troubleshoot and fix production schedule issues
- Design and set up workflow configurations
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a functional analyst/lead in PeopleSoft modules as described above
- Demonstrated experience working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders to analyze their needs and define functional requirements
- Exemplified advanced knowledge in understanding business requirements, processes, and implementation approaches
- Experienced in mapping business requirements to delivered PeopleSoft functionality and articulating/documenting fit-gap analyses and solutions
- Proven experience in test planning and execution
- Expert-level knowledge in PeopleSoft modules (Core HR, Position Management, ePerformance) setups and configurations (including setup and control tables)
- Experience as a PeopleSoft functional lead in a minimum of two PeopleSoft 9.2 implementation projects (in the modules specified above)
- Experience in configuring workflow using PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- Experience in analyzing PUM images and determining the impact on PeopleSoft applications
- Experience with 1-2 PeopleSoft implementations for US State government
