Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing long term shopper strategies by identifying the most profitable and relevant shopper activations and opportunities and allocate proper budget across shopper touchpoints

  • Leading, evaluating and ensuring innovative in-store programs including ideation, production of materials and execution communication to drive off-shelf placement and build brand awareness with consumers, with a focus on 360 degree integration

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders (Brand Team, Sales Teams, T&R Team, Legal, Medical, Retailers) to identify, align and prioritize common sales goals for categories development and joint business annual planning

  • Managing national retail marketing calendar, campaigns and all day-to-day communications internally and externally to respective teams, brand partners and key accounts

  • Participating in annual marketing plan development to ensure that retail needs are incorporated into the brand plans from the beginning

  • Driving shopper analytics, market and competition understanding, brand learnings and action plans

  • Managing shopper budget – part of brand A&P budget

  • Reporting results and recommendations on national and global forum

 

What you will bring:

  • University degree.

  • 3+ years’ experience in shopper / trade / customer marketing.

  • Current or previous experience in Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies with proven track record of driving market share growth.

  • Fluency in English (written & spoken) language

 

Ideal candidate will also manifest:

  • Business or scientific background, Bachelor degree, MBA is a plus

  • Opella Healthcare is top OTC pharmaceutical company in Hungary.   • Minimum 3 years’ experience including trade marketing / shopper marketing / customer marketing.

  • Strategic skills – ability to build long term shopper strategy and trade selling stories aligned with brand strategy.

  • Ability to create shopper insights based on qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Executional excellence in preparing trade activations & materials (POSM, promo sets etc).

  • Initiative, creativity and problem-solving approach.

  • Team spirit, persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with all cross functional partners (Brand Team, Sales Teams, T&R Team, Legal, Medical etc.).

  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing business environment.

  • Digitally Savvy.

  • Knowledge about pharmaceutical trade environment, key pharmacy chains and practical tools will be an additional asset.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) in Hungarian and English.
