Job Description

Job Description Summary

The Sr. Customer Operations Specialist role will be responsible for North America Retail and Distribution customers to drive seamless Order to Cash execution and sales operations functions, including customer demand, support, and backlog/purchase order management. The position partners with the Sales team and directly interact with customers as well as internal cross functional teams across the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for order management from order receipt to final shipment using Oracle and SAP.
  • Ensure accurate scheduling of orders and able to resolve order issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with cross functional team as needed to ensure smooth delivery, on time shipment, and non-compliance penalty avoidance.
  • Ensure regular and effective communication with customers, sales and internal cross-functional teams to maintain alignment across all key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with demand and supply planning, logistics and finance teams to optimize on-time delivery and order to cash cycle.
  • Abide to corporate compliance policies, while consistently follow/improve account management process flows.
  • Ability to effectively research and review discrepancies.  

Qualifications

  • Experience with operational issues associated with order management, background in managing sales order backlog, scheduling orders, solving daily customer problems
  • Ability to provide accurate feedback to internal and external inquiries, in a timely manner.
  • Able to proactively follow up and close on open inquiries/issues.
  • Able to identify, maintain, and resolve errors/issues in end-to-end purchase orders creation and execution.
  • Analyze/review supply availability/allocation and shipping status.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, ability to multitask, be resourceful, and organize workload for efficient workflow under minimal supervision.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines.
  • Strong written, math and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
