About the role
*Open to hiring remote across the US— we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle
We are rapidly scaling to users and enterprises around the world. We are looking for the founding member of our New Business team to identify and support companies deploying Runway in novel ways. You will conceptualize and validate high-potential use cases in untapped markets and work closely across several teams at Runway.
What you’ll do
- Research and identify high potential verticals and customer segments where our technology can solve significant problems and unlock new possibilities
- Conceptualize, document, and articulate novel use cases for our product; think creatively beyond our current customer base to imagine future applications
- Build and execute on highly targeted outreach to build pipeline of new business opportunities catalyzed by Runway’s product offering and upcoming releases
- Foster relationships with key decision-makers and innovators, including executives and senior leadership teams to partner on deploying and growing usage of Runway throughout their organization
- Develop a deep, functional understanding of our products and future roadmap, with a keen sense of the customer perspective today and a creative passion for articulating what is possible
- Partner closely with Product and Commercial teams to share customer feedback and underscore opportunities for further product development
- Systematically track outreach activities and market feedback to refine strategies, identify patterns, and share progress to enable Runway's competitive advantage and market growth
What you’ll need
- 4+ years of overall experience in a growth, GTM, or customer-facing role with experience in a high-growth technology company preferred
- Are motivated by the opportunity to build new systems in a high-growth environment, with a focus on quality, scale, and automation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- A strong bias towards action and belief that no task is too small for you
- High technical aptitude for understanding complex technologies, tools, systems, and issues
- Mindset to think creatively and think beyond past checklists and playbooks
- Highly resourceful with the ability to create structure and work autonomously amidst ambiguity
- New York or SF-based preferred
Salary range: $170,000-$220,000
