$96,498.00 - $135,094.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Exciting growth opportunity for those interested in pursuing leadership in a busy, fast paced procedural area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; monitoring of daily activities, staffing, the facilitation of, and ability to provide clinical care for patients with acute and chronic pain. Lead a diverse team of techs and nurses in both procedural and office-based work environments. Procedural area utilizes fluoroscopy and moderate sedation for a wide range of procedures. Work together with ambulatory leadership, administration, and practice managers to achieve departmental goals. Interpret policy, establish and maintain standards of practice consistent with the University. Ideal candidates should be motivated, have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude, and role model IICARE values. Ability to work in a team setting and provide compassionate, quality care to patients with acute and chronic pain issues is essential. Previous leadership experience preferred, but not required. Requires NYS license and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
