Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as the FP&A business partner to our Global Commercialization Organization and support our growing needs in FP&A.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as the key financial business partner for our growing Global Commercialization organization and support US Commercial Development, Global Commercial Development and Medical Affairs

  • Partner with global commercialization leaders to align financial assumptions and ensure consistency in forecasts.

  • Prepare monthly variance analysis of actuals to budget, explain, and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers.

  • Develop and prepare monthly internal fiscal management reporting packages and commercial profit/loss reports.

  • Build and maintain strong cross functional business partnerships to forecast and track activities by embedding finance into decision-making processes.

  • Lead planning cycles (Annual Budget, Reforecast, launch planning), including template preparation, additional analyses to support budget and forecasting needs and prepare PowerPoint slides as needed.

  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects, providing timely and accurate financial insights.

  • Review purchase requests against budgeted amount and account coding.

  • Help drive process improvements and efficiencies in areas of financial planning, financial analysis, and production of reporting packages.

  • Support monthly accounting close process.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 10+ years’ experience in similar role in the biotechnology industry

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing financial systems and other business intelligence tools; NetSuite, Sage Intaact, Adaptive Insights (including OfficeConnect), and Coupa experience a plus.

  • Experience working effectively in a challenging environment with minimal direction.

  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and ability to meet timelines based on changing priorities.

  • Highest standards of accuracy, precision, and diligence; highly organized

  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally effectively and collaboratively with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize options, anticipate challenges, and execute corporate goals.

  • Strong analytical and advanced excel skills as well as excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to resolve complex issues and drive solutions independently.

Preferred:

  • CPA or MBA preferred.

  • Experience with LRP and Annual Plan process using various financial models

The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $225,000 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
