Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in the daily financial operations of Rev Kitchen & Bar. This position is responsible for supporting general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports

• Perform account reconciliations, including bank, inventory, and vendor accounts

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments

• Maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash reconciliations

• Support payroll processing and related journal entries

• Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis

• Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies

• Support year-end audits and tax filings

• Collaborate with operations and management teams to ensure financial accuracy

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant industry

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant365, or similar)

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
