Configuration Management Analyst
Job Description
RMC is hiring for a Configuration Management Analyst to work across Divisions and Branches addressing RDT&E Information Technology specific CM efforts relating to Inventory, Asset management documentation, IT Continuous Monitoring, Software licensing and maintenance agreements, Software lists, Hardware lists, and Cyber security documentation. The selected applicant will assist in a variety of information technology/infrastructure administrative, IT inventory management, business, and portfolio management activities, including, but not limited to:
• Work as a Configuration Manager supporting IT Enterprise projects at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
• Document, track and manage software and hardware configurations.
• Manage hardware inventory/transfers (in and out), including 00-1149 forms.
• Perform functional and physical configuration audits.
• Manage maintenance logs and software licenses.
• Take Inventory and develop Asset Documentation.
• Should be familiar with managing documentation in SharePoint.
• Should be comfortable entering information in databases.
• Can articulate ideas and concepts clearly and professionally, utilizing good communication skills.
• Needs to have a proven track record of being able to work across a diverse group of skillsets and personality types able to meet/exceed mission milestones and deliverables.
Education:
- High School diploma or GED. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field, is highly desired.
- A minimum of 3 years' relatable experience. Knowledge of Navy IT policies and procedures is desired.
Certification Requirement:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE).
Clearance Requirement:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary Range for this position is: $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements.
