Position Overview
We’re hiring a Regional Manager to lead contractor operations in Southern California. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution and contractor performance across roofing and solar R&R jobs. You’ll manage a regional team that supports contractors in the field and keeps work moving on time and within scope.
Success in this role means delivering production goals, holding contractors accountable, and coaching your team to stay sharp and move fast. If you’ve led field teams, managed subs, and aren’t afraid to get into the details, this is your lane.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a regional team responsible for day-to-day contractor operations and field execution
Oversee all contractor-led roofing and solar R&R work across the region
Maintain accountability with subcontractors on safety, timelines, and quality
Train and develop your team to consistently meet production expectations
Hit monthly volume and revenue goals by driving partner throughput and eliminating operational blockers
Enforce safety compliance and documentation standards in line with Remi and Sunrun policy
Collaborate cross-functionally with scheduling, engineering, and finance to solve problems quickly
Conduct jobsite visits and in-person contractor meetings as needed (travel required up to 50%)
Monitor performance metrics to identify trends and take proactive action
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in contractor operations, construction management, or field execution
Proven experience leading field or regional teams
Background in roofing, solar, or similar trades strongly preferred
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, especially when things go sideways
High ownership mentality, problem-solver, and fast decision-maker
Comfortable using tech tools (Slack, Google Sheets, CRM or ops platforms)
Willingness to travel regularly throughout your region
