Job Description
Public Storage is seeking a strategic, analytically driven Senior Business Analyst to join our high-impact Digital Delivery Team. This role is instrumental in bridging business needs with technology solutions, particularly in the context of enterprise FinTech and AI-driven innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, critical thinking capabilities, and a passion for solving complex problems through data and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Apply critical thinking to challenge assumptions, uncover root causes, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- AI & Data-Driven Projects: Partner with data science and engineering teams to define business use cases for AI/ML initiatives, such as predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and customer behavior modeling. Translate business needs into data requirements and evaluate model outputs for business relevance.
- Drive Analytical Rigor: Leverage data and analytical tools to evaluate business processes, identify trends, and support decision-making. Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform product and delivery strategies.
- Model and Visualize Processes: Create detailed process flows, use cases, and data models to clearly communicate requirements and system interactions across the SDLC.
- Enhance Delivery Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements that streamline requirement gathering, validation, and handoff to engineering teams.
- Governance and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and artifacts to support traceability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple priorities and timelines, ensuring key milestones are met and stakeholder expectations are proactively managed.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, product strategy, or digital transformation, preferably in a FinTech or enterprise technology environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
- Experience working on complex projects from a business perspective (e.g., defining use cases, evaluating outcomes, supporting adoption).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
- Exposure to or certification in AI is a plus.
