What we're looking for
Our client, a California-based sustainable bags and accessories brand, is seeking a Shopify E-commerce Specialist to manage their online store operations and support ongoing platform improvements. This role is essential for keeping the e-commerce experience seamless, visually consistent, and optimized for performance. You’ll play a hands-on role in coordinating product launches, implementing site updates, troubleshooting issues, and identifying tools that improve workflows and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, product launches, and routine site updates in collaboration with marketing and development teams.
- Manage product listings by uploading descriptions, imagery, SEO details, and merchandising collections for visual and functional clarity.
- Identify bugs, broken links, and display issues; communicate fixes clearly to the developer and follow through until resolution.
- Monitor Shopify apps (loyalty, reviews, upsell, etc.), troubleshoot issues, and research potential tools to improve performance or efficiency.
- Pull and organize reports on traffic, product performance, and conversion metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- 2–3 years of e-commerce experience, ideally in a role involving site coordination or management.
- Strong proficiency with Shopify — confident handling day-to-day tasks and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay organized without constant oversight.
- Comfortable working with developers and cross-functional teams to execute site improvements.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership over the quality and consistency of e-commerce content.
Nice to have
- Experience with project management tools like Asana or Miro.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, or Klaviyo.
- Interest in sustainability, fashion, or working with mission-driven consumer brands.
- USD Salary
- 100% Remote Work
- Paid Time Off
