Job Description

The Ancillary Services Associate is a key contributor on our Ancillary Services team to successfully onboard physician practices to Privia’s physician office lab (POL) and other ancillary offerings. This individual will also be responsible for supporting a cluster of care center’s ancillary services needs to drive overall results.

  • Work closely with the Ancillary Services team to identify opportunities to drive ordering and collection workflow improvements at our care centers
  • Collaborate with vendor partner(s) and various internal PMG departments to optimize care center workflows
  • Utilize performance reports to identify and optimize workflows to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor performance against key objectives, strategic plans
  • Engage Operations team in Care Center conversions.
  • Proactively monitor and support Care Centers to ensure timely service and issue resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Service to triage and manage issues from Care Centers.
  • Train physicians, providers, and office staff on processes and technologies.
  • Perform basic analytics functions as necessary.
  • Assist team members with ad-hoc projects, analytics, and support.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking skills and assess situations carefully; delivering clear recommendations
  • Provide best-in-class customer service to physician practices to ensure issues are resolved and clients are satisfied.
  • Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable accreditation, statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of previous healthcare experience required; working with physicians and medical groups or phlebotomy is preferred
  • Athena EMR experience preferred
  • Experience using Google Suite tools preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Must be familiar and proficient in the use of software (e.g. EMR systems, Laboratory Information System (LIS) CRM, Microsoft Office or equivalent, etc.).
  • Comfort in functioning independently and autonomously.
  • Project management experience with the skill to prioritize multiple projects and urgent deliverables while providing exceptional client service.
  • Appropriately communicate with leadership.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with providers, management, clients and staff, in order to get buy-in to decisions
  • Expresses ideas clearly and effectively, motivates the listener to action
  • Responds calmly and maturely in high pressure situations
  • Uses a customer-focused approach in dealing with conflict and resolution of problems

The salary range for this role is $58,000 to $65,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10%.The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
