About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for analyzing financial and credit data for commercial credit accounts, managing credit risk through detailed assessments, and supporting the company’s bonding, credit insurance, and bankruptcy account processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and at least three years of experience in commercial credit review.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and credit requests, including new requests, changes, refinancing, and annual reviews.
- Pull and review credit for commercial accounts and assess creditworthiness.
- Make informed recommendations based on credit risk findings.
- Manage bonding, credit insurance, and bankruptcy accounts.
- File and track credit claims and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform scheduled credit reviews to ensure appropriate risk coverage on all accounts.
- Prepare and present detailed credit reports to management.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to maintain compliance with credit and financial policies.
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory developments in credit risk and financial analysis.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably focused on commercial credit.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in reviewing financial statements and assessing credit risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and credit analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in filing claims, bonding, credit insurance, and managing bankruptcy accounts.
- Prior experience with structured credit review processes.
- Familiarity with industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
