Business Development Manager – Viral Vector Manufacturing
Business Development Managers are sought to support commercial expansion in the viral vector manufacturing space. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and supporting contract negotiations. Candidates should bring at least 1–3 years of experience in a similar business development or commercial role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage new clients within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Maintain and develop a pipeline of potential accounts through consistent outreach and follow-up.
- Deliver tailored presentations and proposals based on each client’s technical and commercial needs.
- Support contract negotiations as required.
- Represent the company at international industry events and conferences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and partnership opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally to support client onboarding and project alignment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy or a related scientific field; MSc or PhD preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within biotech, pharma, or CDMO sectors.
- Familiarity with viral vectors, cell and gene therapy, or related technologies is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently or as part of a team.
