Job Description

Perry Homes has been a Texas tradition for over 50 years. As one of the largest and most respected homebuilders in Texas, we are committed to quality, integrity, and exceptional customer service. Our people-first culture and strong business reputation are built on hiring top talent and supporting their growth.

The Role

We are seeking a driven and flexible Recruiter to join our Field Operations Talent Acquisition team, with a primary focus on recruiting high-performing sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of recruiting experience, with a deep understanding of sales profiles and strong stakeholder management skills. This individual will report to the Lead Recruiter for Field Operations and will work closely with sales leadership to identify, engage, and hire talent that drives results. This role requires agility, as business needs may evolve and include support in other operational areas beyond sales. Candidates with experience recruiting for new home sales or within the homebuilding industry will be strongly preferred. This role includes participating in monthly development meetings and requires being onsite at least one day per week, as well as any time candidates are scheduled for in-person interviews. Recruiters are also expected to go out into the field to sit in on interviews conducted by our Vice Presidents to better understand expectations and hiring profiles for Sales Associates and Construction Managers—our project management professionals. Perry Homes maintains a high bar for excellence and offers a clearly defined career pathway for those looking to grow and contribute meaningfully.

What You'll Do

  • Stay engaged with current market trends and competitive intelligence in the sales and real estate industries.
  • Support recruiting efforts across other field or corporate roles, as needed based on business priorities.
  • Participate in team meetings, calibration sessions, and hiring strategy discussions.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of recruiting processes and documentation.
  • Represent Perry Homes with professionalism and enthusiasm in all candidate interactions.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales profiles and proven success in hiring high-performing sales talent.
  • Experience recruiting for new home sales or within the homebuilding industry is a plus.
  • Agility and willingness to shift focus across departments based on business needs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and being onsite 2 days per week.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms; Workable experience preferred.
  • Team player who brings positive energy and accountability to the recruiting process.
  • Support marketing and employer branding efforts for field roles, including hosting information sessions, participating in networking events, and collaborating with internal teams to promote opportunities.
