Responsibilities
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Lead Program Financial Analyst to join the Benefits Claims and Integrity Solutions Operating Unit supporting mission-critical government programs. This role is pivotal in driving program financial performance, ensuring contractual compliance, and mentoring a team of analysts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial analysis in the federal contracting environment and be adept at interfacing with both internal operational units and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Operating Unit team lead, supporting the OU Finance Manager.
- Mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
- Leads process improvements within the finance team
- Assists in the planning, implementation, communication, and delivery of the company's finance initiatives and objectives.
- Partner with Program Managers and OU (Operating Unit) leadership to drive program strategy and execution.
- Act as the primary financial analyst across multiple government programs.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and forecasting, including EACs, variance analysis, funding tracking, and revenue/profitability projections.
- Ensure program financials comply with FAR/DFARS, CAS, and company internal controls.
- Support contract start-up and closeout activities in alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Support pricing and proposal development efforts, including BOEs, cost models, and rate structures.
- Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting to executive leadership and external partners as needed.
- Collaborate with Contracts, Subcontracts, Billing and Compliance to ensure integrated program execution.
- End to end program financial management.
- Perform complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for individual programs or the OU portfolio.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analysis systems to guide the financial management of individual programs and contracts to achieve company objectives.
- Assess program performance and track the performance against program budgets. Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues. Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
- Monitor DSO calculations, Cash flow forecast, and Aging receivables, and take actions to drive cash collection.
- Work with the operations and finance teams and billing department to ensure prompt and accurate monthly invoicing
- Conduct Backlog Revenue and Unbilled AR reconciliation on a quarterly basis.
- Monitor the status of financial accounts, ensuring that contract charges accurately reflect the correct labor hours, rates and dates, as well as subcontractor costs and other direct costs (ODCs).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of comprehensive financial and administrative experience.
- Experience working with financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis
- Prior experience working FFP, T&M, and CPFF programs.
- Excel proficient
- US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Deltek CostPoint
- Strong organizational skills are required
- Ability to build partnerships across functions.
- People management/mentoring experience.
- Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Federal Accounting Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) are highly desired.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet recurring deadlines.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
