About the Job
We are looking for a FinOps Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on the company and its competitors. You will research and analyse financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, prepare reports and monitor financial movements.

As our FinOps Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Performing financial reporting, forecasting and operational metrics tracking
- Calculating or reconciling fees and other deductions charged to customers
- Reconciling merchants’ and providers’ balances and ensuring the safeguarding of funds wherever required
- Working closely with the Operations team for the movement and settlement of funds
- Creating and maintaining pricing models and coordinating with the Sales team for any updates
- Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews
- Analysing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
- Working with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identifying and assisting in process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards
- Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation
You will be a good fit if you:

- Have a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or a Membership in a Professional Accounting body, with strong analytical and data-gathering skills
- Have 4-5 years of business finance or other relevant experience, preferably with a Financial Institution or within the Payments industry
- Experience in managing FinOps for Merchants and segregated fund accounts
- Are well-versed with Excel formulas and functions and are familiar with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
- Have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
- Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and are able to work independently
- Can interact with executive-level management
