Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to contribute to development focusing on full lifecycle software design, development, implementation, verification, and testing. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge integration projects, developing robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that support seamless data processing and intelligent decision-making. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance back-end services, APIs, and UI for data management and visualization tools.
  • Optimize database performance, data modeling, and processing for large-scale applications.
  • Enhance existing back-end architecture to improve system responsiveness, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Work alongside program managers, UX designers, software engineers, hardware engineers, subject matter experts, and customers.
  • Conduct ongoing code documentation, code coverage, and build version control.
  • Develop ongoing unit-based tests and regression tests, create acceptance criteria for QC, conduct peer-review w/ other team members, and review code for others.
  • Practice and improve on Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development methodologies and tools.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must be a US Citizen and TS/SCI-eligible.
  • Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, or related technology field or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Programming skills in Python (Django, DRF, FastAPI) or React/TypeScript with Material UI, Git, SQL, Playwright/Cypress Test Libraries, Testing, Debugging.
  • Experience with Data Visualization, RESTful APIs, RESTful Web Services, Orchestration and Containerization (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Familiarity with Database Architecture, User Experience (UX), software development/deployment processes and tool kits (e.g. Git, Artifactory, SonarQube).
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence including Large Language Models.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, encryption, and secure coding techniques.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • TS/SCI w/Poly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
