Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Our home care agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying short-term and long-term hiring needs and managing the candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle.
Basic Function: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our agency is adequately staffed with top-quality caregivers and CNAs. You will be responsible for identifying hiring needs, advertising job openings, coordinating interviews, and managing the entire candidate cycle from application through onboarding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Serve as a liaison between the company and potential employees, maintaining harmonious relationships with candidates.
- Anticipate hiring needs and work quickly to ensure the agency is adequately staffed.
- Advertise job openings across multiple channels.
- Coordinate across departments to identify current and projected hiring needs.
- Manage paperwork and all related processes for candidates.
- Attend job fairs and participate in in-house recruitment events.
- Coordinate interviews and manage the candidate cycle from application through onboarding.
- Prepare hiring reports and track staffing metrics monthly.
- Conduct pre-employment screenings, including background checks and reference checks.
- Recommend, develop, and improve procedures for responsibilities ranging from recruiting process enhancements to large projects and initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding presentations as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Performance Standards:
- Proven work experience in sales, marketing, or staffing.
- Professional demeanor and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster relationships with the local community, job applicants, and the general public.
- Understanding of agency policies and procedures as well as state and federal EEO regulations.
- Ability to navigate Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases successfully.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Exposure Risk: Minimal - The Talent Acquisition Specialist is at minimal risk for exposure to blood and body fluids or other potentially infectious materials.
Supervision Exercised: Supervision requirements related to care aide performance on the job.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; college preferred.
- One year of sales, marketing, and/or recruiting experience in a corporate setting.
- Human Resource and interviewing experience is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Communication with personnel at all levels.
