We are looking for a Research Fellow to explore nonlinear optical properties of 2D materials. The role will focus on 1) Investigate nonlinear optical phenomena, 2) Design, simulate, and fabricate cavity-based nonlinear optical devices, 3) Collaborate closely with the team, 4) Prepare high-quality research manuscripts and technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the conduct of research project with research team members to ensure completion of deliverables
Develop optical platforms
Mentoring PhD candidate and FYP students
Assist in grant writing
Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers
Assist or produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in optics or related field
Familiarity with national codes and standards
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in specific programming languages, numeric and analytical skill
Competent in information visualization, interaction design
Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details
Excellent organizational and time management skills
