The Role: Senior Account Manager

Reporting into: Account Director

Location: Bristol or London, you can work from either!

Hybrid Working: Yes (2 days a week in the office)

About the role

As a Senior Account Manager, you will drive our business forward, by managing a portfolio of clients including delivering programmes of work and ensuring we deliver a great service whilst building strong relationships. You will be the first point of contact for client questions and requests. You will also work in partnership with practitioners throughout the business to create exceptional digital experiences for our clients ensuring we are helping our clients to meet their commercial objectives.

What you'll be doing:

  • In your role as a Senior Account Manager, you will take the lead on a range of exciting accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and helping to drive results that align with their strategic goals.
  • You will collaborate closely with both clients and internal teams, championing the voice of the client and delivering insights that shape our initiatives.
  • Your responsibilities will include accurate financial reporting and forecasting, managing project budgets, and identifying opportunities for growth within your accounts.
  • You will lead by example, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong background in account management (5+years experience), with a proven ability to foster and grow long-term client relationships.
  • Experience managing portfolio over and above £600,000 per year.
  • A commercially minded person with experience in growing accounts and securing new business opportunities.
  • The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, skilled in engaging with stakeholders across various levels and backgrounds - up to C-suite.
  • A passion for user-centred design and experience in sectors such as public services or technology will be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Lastly, you should be motivated and proactive, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.

  • 1st stage interview: 45-minute video interview
  • 2nd stage interview: 60-minute in person interview, depending on location
