Job Description
We are seeking an energetic Sales Coordinator to join our Food and Lifestyle Events team. This role focuses on outbound calls to potential clients, introducing our services, and scheduling new business meetings for the sales team. You will also help create proposals and presentations and attend client meetings.
You will work closely with our Senior Commercial Manager for guidance and support. This position offers significant mentorship and growth opportunities and the possibility of evolving into a Sales Executive role based on performance.
Day to day you will:
- Prospect and make outbound cold calls to prospective clients to introduce offerings.
- Secure qualified meetings and appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, outcomes, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Assist with research and industry insights to ensure accurate targeting.
- Meet KPIs related to call volume, meeting bookings, and conversions.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the events industry and upcoming competitive events.
- Manage general administration, organisation tasks and responses to client comms.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Previous cold calling sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Resilience and a goal-driven, positive, can-do attitude.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and a confident phone/ written manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable handling objections and turning challenges into opportunities.
- Ability to follow directions, learn quickly, and apply feedback.
- Knowledge of or interest in events, activations and live experiences would be advantageous.
- Ability to operate collaboratively as part of a team, or autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment.
