About this job
As an Associate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the selling, revenue management and vendor contract process/cycle of a Retailer’s supplier collaboration program. Your success in this role will be driven by three areas. The first is leading the annual selling cycle and vendor onboarding to hit key financial metrics. The second is to grow the business by upselling existing vendors, selling to new vendors, and being an input into the product development process to improve the marketability of the product. The third is tracking revenue in a timely and accurate manner for both client and internal stakeholders. Your experience in CPG/Retail with Customer Analytics will allow you to perform product demonstrations as required.
Responsibilities
Development of a Sales Plan for assigned clients/sales target.
Achieving established sales target by managing disciplined action plan for opportunities you support
Building supporting sales materials for client proposals
Maintaining an understanding of client stakeholders and building client relationships with key players
Transferring client feedback and market desires to product teams in support of solution enhancements
Monitoring client contracts to ensure correct and timely delivery of services and contract renewal
Timelines
Collaborate with internal teams (Account Leads, SDRs, Product) to align on client strategy
Cultivate relationships with key client stakeholders (Account Manager – Sales and Category, Analysts)

Your greatest professional asset is the ability to sell analytics solutions to professionals in the category management and shopper Insights field. You enjoy building relationships with management to best position NIQ's solutions You are eager to continue to leverage your sales and interpersonal skill set open doors and close deals.
Qualifications
5-7+ years’ experience in a relevant industry (CPG, consulting, sales)
Consultative selling with experience across data-driven solutions
Have a "Hunter Mentality", readiness to become acclimated quickly, and strong motivation to hit annual and quarterly sales goals
Be comfortable leading the sales process start to finish, and closing deals with both long & short sales cycles
Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Experience working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution
Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
Strong sense of urgency and accountability to deliver against quarterly & annual financial targets
Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications, and platforms a plus
Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $93,800.00 - $110,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
