New Home Star, the largest privately owned new home sales company in the U.S., is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader to take the reins of our expanding Jacksonville division. In this role, you’ll be the local leadership presence for our valued builder partner, Maronda Homes, working closely with the Vice President of Sales for North Florida to lead, coach, and elevate on-the-ground sales operations.

While the VP oversees the broader Jacksonville-area portfolio, you’ll focus on leading a high-performing team in your region, driving sales, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and playing a critical role in the division’s continued growth. 💼 What You’ll Do

  • Team Leadership & Sales Strategy – Coach, mentor, and lead a team of New Home Sales Associates to meet and exceed sales goals. Collaborate with builder leadership to align on strategies and deliver outstanding results.
  • Training & Development – Provide ongoing feedback and in-person coaching. Lead community-level training and support the success of your team through both in-field guidance and our proprietary tech platform.
  • Customer Experience – Ensure your team delivers a world-class buying experience to every customer—before, during, and after the sale.
  • Market Outreach & Analysis – Monitor local conditions, analyze competitors, and implement marketing or incentive strategies to drive traffic and close more sales.
  • Operational Excellence – Maintain top-tier model home and community presentation standards, ensure efficient operations, and support seamless builder collaboration.
  • Executive Collaboration – Participate in company-wide leadership training and executive meetings to contribute to broader strategic initiatives.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Experience – 2+ years in a sales director role and 10+ years in new home sales overall. Proven success leading high-performing teams.
  • Leadership Skills – Strong communicator, motivator, and problem-solver with a passion for developing others.
  • Tech Proficiency – Proficient in Zoom, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM tools, and open to learning new technologies.
  • Education/License – Bachelor’s degree preferred. A valid real estate license is required within three months of hire.
  • Availability – Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Other Requirements – Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and liability insurance. A background check will be conducted. Relocation is required if not already based in the region.
