Distribution Account Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Account Manager focused on managing key AV distribution partnerships. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of distribution, pricing models, supply chain, and AV integration. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven history of success in building key partner relationships, managing distribution pricing, and enabling partner salespeople with solution-oriented sales materials. This role will be remote-based, with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage pricing and programs with US and Canadian AV distributors.
Collaborate with key distribution contacts to build go-to-market efforts.
Help create programs and initiatives that leverage NETGEAR’s distributors to grow business.
Support distribution events (national sales meetings, tradeshows, etc.) with booth management and sales presentations.
Ensure NETGEAR products are accurately priced and positioned at distribution.
Lead internal efforts to increase operational efficiency, making NETGEAR an easier company to work with.
Be a key liaison between distribution sales teams and the NETGEAR sales team.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant work experience in the AV industry working for an integrator, manufacturer, or distributor.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Proven track record of working within multi-tiered sales channels (manufacturer – distributor – reseller – customer).
A high attention to detail and ability to thrive in high-intensity sales organizations.
Strong business acumen to advise NETGEAR Sales and Channel leadership on optimizing Partner Success Program benefits to maximize distribution mindshare and success.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Self-starter with ambition and pride in business success.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Tableau.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
