Job Description

Thinkbait is our in-house digital marketing collective based in Dublin, employing digital and performance marketing specialists with UI/UX expertise, building best in class customer journeys, and applying their SEO experience to our digital marketing channels.

Our Design team is a key part of building upon the success of our brands across the globe, and the new role will join a growing design team and report to our Head of Design. The role is ideally to sit within our Dublin marketing division, with its office in Dublin, Ireland. This is a hybrid role, with occassional office attendance required. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Content departments to translate marketing collateral into professionally treated and optimised assets for the web. In addition to this, they will work within the product design team on UX / UI design work across the various brand websites. We will look to continually improve our design quality across the board. Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. is essential to our wider variety of design tasks across online (web UI, Design systems, Email design etc.) and print ready documents.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience  of experience designing UX and UI for software, with a focus on design systems.
  • Figma experience essential - this is a pre-requisite
  • Excellent experience working Adobe Create Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
  • A portfolio featuring examples of product design & design system understanding.
  • The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate design decisions.
  • A deep emphasis on user experience with a keen understanding of human behaviour, coupled with a sharp eye for clean and effective visual design.

  • Create user flows and design solutions that align with our strategic goals.
  • Collaboration with product management, and analytics teams to gain a deep understanding of users, their context, and the competitive landscape.
  • The support of the team of designers and a solid design system to ensure high quality and standards across all projects.
  • The opportunity to contribute to the growth, flourishing, and success of our team by participating in broader design team goals, activities, and mentoring, including improving our Design System.
  • Maintaining design quality and adhering to brand guidelines and direction.
  • Help develop and maintain consistent branding across various channels.
  • Exploring and presenting fresh design experiences & insights to achieve challenging company objectives, such as expanding into new markets and introducing new products.
