As a Sr. Android Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of Android applications. You will work with a team of talented engineers to create innovative mobile solutions. Your work will focus on ensuring application quality, performance, and delivering a seamless user experience. Implement best practices for developing Android applications that target multiple devices and platform versions

You will develop Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles. You will work closely with the design team to build beautiful Android features. You will drive end-to-end testing of new features related to multimedia, UI, and networking.

On a daily basis, you will identify issues and file/solve tickets with the appropriate reproduction steps and debugging information. You will ensure partner devices are reliable under stress conditions by following industry best practices when implementing software.

• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Significant years of hands on experience with the Android platform.
• Expert-level knowledge of Android with hands on experience developing, shipping, and maintaining mobile applications
• A solid understanding of MVVM, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose is required.
• Deep understanding of Android framework internals
• Up-to-date on the latest framework changes, build tools, and libraries
• Optimizing data usage over mobile networks
• Maturity to understand the client requirements and ensure high quality delivery.
• Peer reviewing, mentoring the juniors in the team.
• Excellent communication skill
