Navion Senior Solutions, a locally owned and operated senior housing company with over 100 years of senior housing management experience across the Southeast, is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee our senior living communities. As the Regional Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our senior living communities and in driving our mission of providing exceptional care.

This position will support communities that are located in both North and South Carolina! Travel will be frequent!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple senior living communities
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance quality of care and resident satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Work collaboratively with community leaders to achieve financial goals and operational targets
  • Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and staff
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate community leaders and staff members
  • Maintain a deep understanding of senior living industry trends and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of leadership in senior housing or hospitality preferred.
  • A valid NC state license.
  • Knowledge of state regulations, OSHA standards and fire and safety codes required.
  • Successful leadership and financial skills required.
  • Must be able to handle conflict, problems and emergency situations.
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary setting with residents, families, staff members, representatives of community and government agencies.
  • Computer skills such as Excel, Word documents, PowerPoint required.
  • High energy level and the ability to handle multiple priorities is required.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to senior living.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple senior living communities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and staff.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to assigned communities and regional office locations.
