About the role
To further the Futu/Moomoo mission, we’re looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Technician who will:
Work collaboratively and creatively as part of a skilled team, who will work with internal team members to provide assistance and resolution to Information Technology issues related to their daily tasks. Responds to telephone calls, email, service desk tickets and personnel requests for technical support for multiple business lines, geographic locations and remote team members. You will document, track, monitor, and coordinate with other team members on issues to ensure a timely resolution. You will assist with equipment acquisitions, deployments, upgrades, tracking, repair, and recycling.
What you'll do:
- Information Technology end user support both remote and/or on-site.
- Documentation of support requests, resolution and metrics to SLAs within the IT service support management solution.
- Follow-up on open issues that arise throughout the course of daily duties and/or other assignments being performed.
- Account and mailbox creation as part of the on-boarding process, specifically Active Directory and Microsoft 365, and account maintenance and removal.
- Install, deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, multifunction and mobile devices.
- Administer IT service systems, including Microsoft Entra(AD) and 365, Windows, End Point maintenance and security, etc.
- Assist with maintaining IT service support management solutions and its functionality.
- Work with third party IT vendors when needed.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as requested in support of IT systems.
- Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
- Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
- Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferably in the field of computer science or information systems.
- 2-4 years' experience in an IT Service Desk role.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with IT Hardware Deployments and Onboarding/Offboarding new hires.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, Entra (Active Directory) and MacOS.
- Significant knowledge of PC hardware and mobile device maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, telecommunications networks and various application software platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Able to conduct research into issues and products as required to resolve issues.
- Ability to prioritize, execute tasks and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language for technical and non-technical audience
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to quickly learn new skills and technologies
- Excellent customer service ability
- Ability to function effectively as a shared resource to the overall teams
- On-call availability.

Base pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000. This role is also eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus plan.
