Hybrid – Buffalo, NYWe’re seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer to join our Corporate Group. Reporting to the Internal Communications Director, this hybrid role is based in East Aurora, NY. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, expert-level lighting and post-production skills, and a strong portfolio.
To be considered for the Videographer role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:
Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, or related field.
A combination of experience and education, or equivalent professional experience, may also be considered.
5+ years of professional videography experience with a strong, relevant portfolio.
Proficiency in all aspects of video production: filming, lighting, sound, and editing.
Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools.
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to direct on-camera talent effectively.
Deep knowledge of DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting techniques, and audio capture.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
Due to filming locations and subject matter, US citizenship is required.
As a Videographer, you will:
Produce engaging video content that supports HR, recruitment, and internal communications initiatives—helping to inspire, educate, and connect employees while showcasing our company culture and values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Production: Manage the full video production lifecycle—from concept and planning to filming, lighting, and editing.
Lighting Mastery: Design and execute advanced lighting setups for interviews and on-location shoots.
Post-Production: Edit high-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar tools).
Collaborate: Partner with HR and communications teams to develop creative concepts and ensure brand alignment.
Content Creation: Produce videos for onboarding, training, employee engagement, and internal events.
Talent Direction: Inspire and guide on-camera talent to create a comfortable and dynamic environment.
Equipment Oversight: Maintain and organize video gear, ensuring readiness for every shoot.
File Management: Organize and archive video assets and project files.
Trend Awareness: Stay current with video production trends and propose innovative content ideas.
Creative Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production challenges to ensure smooth workflows.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $60,000.00–$80,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
