As the Associate Creative Director (Design), you will lead the creative development of visual strategies that align with client objectives and audience needs across the B2B buyer journey. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including content strategists, campaign leads, and data analysts—to craft experiences that are visually compelling, brand-consistent, and performance-driven.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate Creative Director (Design) plays a key role in shaping the creative vision and execution for the enterprise B2B clients. Reporting to the Principal, Creative Design, this role blends creative leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on direction to deliver scalable and effective design solutions. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and clients to define and implement data-informed design strategies that drive engagement, support marketing goals, and build brand equity. This position is ideal for a strong conceptual thinker with a high creative bar, attention to craft, and a desire to influence through both ideas and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic design concepts aligned with client business goals, audience needs, and buyer journey stages.
- Conduct brand and design audits to identify opportunities for brand consistency, creative improvement, and visual storytelling enhancements.
- Design and oversee scalable creative workflows that ensure timely, high-quality design delivery across multiple formats and platforms.
- Use performance data and user insights to evaluate and refine creative work, driving continuous improvement in design effectiveness.
- Establish and uphold design and branding best practices that promote creative consistency, scalability, and innovation across all visual outputs.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to uncover strategic opportunities and transform business objectives into compelling design outcomes.
- Work cross-functionally with content and campaign teams to create seamless, integrated visual experiences.
- Partner with data and strategy teams to test, iterate, and evolve design strategies based on performance metrics.
- Serve as a creative consultant to clients, presenting ideas, advocating for design thinking, and providing expert recommendations.
- Monitor key creative KPIs, such as visual engagement, brand consistency, and campaign effectiveness, and report on their impact.
- Identify and implement process enhancements within the creative lifecycle to improve efficiency, collaboration, and output quality.
- Mentor and guide designers by providing clear direction, creative feedback, and opportunities for growth.
A. Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Minimum of 7-9 years of graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing leadership in both print and digital projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading creative or design teams and driving the development of strategic creative solutions.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary marketing environments with content, strategy, and digital teams.
- Proficient in graphic design/creative design across multiple formats (long form, short form, ads).
- Strong understanding of branding principles and application across all assets.
- Generalist skill set covering three pillars: Creative/Graphic Design, UI/UX (focus on strategic aspects, user journey, design systems, not heavy technical implementation) and Video & Motion (understanding video production processes, video formats, framing, flow, and trends).
- Preferably from advertising agencies with exposure to B2B industries, bringing a generalist yet strategically sharp perspective to creative design in a marketing context.
B. Technical and Soft Skills
- Strong expertise in design and UI/UX principles, with a clear understanding of how visual design impacts engagement and conversion across marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (including but not limited to XD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), Figma, and Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint and Word), or equivalent design platforms.
- Proficient with emerging AI tools like Adobe Firefly to optimize creative workflows and asset production.
- Skilled in integrating technical and visual thinking to develop cohesive, effective, and scalable design solutions.
- Highly attuned design sensibility, with mastery in layout, typography, color theory, and visual composition—ensuring consistency and craft across deliverables.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide high-performing design teams.
- Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in presenting, articulating, and defending creative ideas to clients and internal teams.
