Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service Manager to lead and support a high-performing team of Customer Service Representatives at our Columbia, PA facility. This position is ideal for a motivated and energetic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Inside Sales / Customer Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 25 individuals in the daily department operations, developing team through coaching and feedback, and ensuring the team delivers excellent service across multiple channels, including phone and online ordering.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Customer Service and Inside Sales Representatives (approximately 25 team members), ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Provide effective leadership through goal setting, delegation, training, and performance monitoring.
- Assist in performance evaluations and ongoing development of direct reports.
- Monitor department KPIs and implement process improvements to increase customer satisfaction and team productivity.
- Respond to escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Accounting, Purchasing, Marketing, and Warehouse to streamline operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain communication with senior leadership, providing status updates and insights related to team performance and customer trends.
- Manage special projects as assigned by senior leadership.
- Ensure team members are cross-trained and capable of supporting all sales channels.
- Uphold company values through professional appearance and conduct.
- Support customer outreach and engagement efforts, including catalog, website, and email campaign coordination.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience in a customer service or sales management role.
- Experience working within a VoIP phone system is preferred, experience in RingCentral is a plus.
- Prior experience in the car wash or wholesale distribution industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is preferred.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary seated position for extended periods, spend regular hours in front of a computer screen and use a headset while on calls.
- Occasionally required to move about inside the office to printers, files, etc.
- Be able to use and work with a computer, and other technology that regularly requires you to be within 20 inches of a computer/electronic screen.
