Overview

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an IT Professional to join the team in our San Antonio, TX office.  

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT point of contact, ensuring reliable and responsive support to all staff.
  • Lead and manage a small team of local IT support analysts, providing mentorship, direction, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain and support day-to-day IT operations including desktop support, infrastructure troubleshooting, and end-user training.
  • Oversee IT service delivery related to office infrastructure, including networking, onsite severs, AV systems, and printers.
  • Coordinate with enterprise IT teams and service towers to implement companywide technologies and standards locally.
  • Support laptop deployment technologies and manage device lifecycle activities such as imaging, inventory, and replacement planning.
  • Facilitate office expansions, moves, and/or new offices in partnership with facilities team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve technology challenges and continually improve IT service delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience in a professional services or corporate environment, including team leadership or mentorship responsibilities.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in the following areas:
    • Windows 11 desktop environment and device management
    • Office 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
    • Active Directory and basic networking (DHCP, DNS, IP troubleshooting)
    • Imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, Autopilot, Intune)
    • Printers, AV systems, and general office hardware
  • Demonstrated experience managing local office IT needs while coordinating with centralized enterprise IT teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to prioritize tasks and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying critical thinking to develop solutions.
  • Ability to travel occasionally between supported offices or to company events
