What we do
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of in-person events, including major industry conferences, field and partner events, executive forums, and roadshows.
- Align event strategy with company objectives by partnering with cross-functional teams (sales, product marketing, execs, and partners) to define event goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
- Execute all logistical aspects of event production including venue/booth selection, contract negotiation, vendor sourcing, A/V, catering, reservations, swag orders, signage, shipping, and on-site management.
- Oversee the North America event budgets with accountability for planning, forecasting, expense tracking, and ROI reporting
- Lead cross-functional planning, ensuring alignment on event messaging and content, promotions, speaking sessions, booth presence, staffing, demos, and post-event follow-up.
- Drive pre-event marketing and sales outreach in partnership with marketing ops, creative, sales, executives, and other key event stakeholders. Manage the development of promotional materials including emails, social posts, as well as sales outbound sequences.
- Ensure flawless execution of post-event leads follow up, including data cleansing, timely upload of leads and notes into Salesforce, tracking lead status and progression, and providing regular updates on event impact.
- Continuously improve processes, ensuring event workflows are standardized (whenever possible), documented, and communicated across impacted teams; propose and implement process improvements to drive scale and efficiency.
- Maintain a pulse on event trends and best practices, continuously evolving Kentik’s event strategy to increase impact.

- 5+ years of experience managing B2B events in a high-growth, SaaS or tech-driven environment
- Proven track record of planning and delivering successful event programs with measurable pipeline and brand impact
- Deep experience with large-scale trade shows, partner events, and regional field activations
- Excellent project management skills, including vendor and stakeholder coordination across multiple simultaneous events
- Strong operational mindset with a track record of improving event processes, workflows, and documentation.
- Skilled in budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor sourcing
- Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Sendoso, Asana, Apollo
- Comfortable collaborating at all levels of the organization, including executives and sales leaders
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Our compensation philosophy encompasses a fair program for all in order to attract, engage and retain talented individuals who will drive our business and wow our customers.
The compensation range for this position is: $145,000 - $190,000. This range reflects the low and high end of the U.S. compensation range Kentik reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role. The actual compensation offered may be lower or higher than the stated range depending on various factors, including but not limited to:
- Experience with the skill sets required for success
- Demonstrated competencies and potential
- A geographic market-based approach
