Key Responsibilities:
- Work side-by-side with Space Operations Command (SpOC) personnel to help identify and repurpose federal spectrum frequencies for commercial use and spectrum sharing, resulting from the ongoing National Spectrum Strategy (NSS) study.
- Analyze USSF RFAs, existing Wireless FCC licenses, and proposed federal and non-federal use cases using government and international databases
- Responsible to provide technical reviews of documents related to spectrum management (e.g., Instructions, Manuals, and Regulations, policy papers, etc.)
- Ability to manage and update the Spectrum XXI database
Minimum Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: active TS/SCI
- Direct RF spectrum allocation experience
- Experience with commercial wireless industry, including terrestrial and satellite communications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related applied mathematics and physics-oriented field related to RF and wireless communications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of DoD and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating with national level spectrum management offices like Army Spectrum Management Office, Air Force Spectrum Management Office, FAA, etc.

- Experience with Hose Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO)
- Spectrum XXI database training

Basic Compensation:
$120k - $130k
- The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
- KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
