Your Responsibilities
John Deere’s Solutions-as-a-Service Customer Success team is looking for a Product Manager to define and develop experiences that help Deere customers quickly unlock value from our technology. This role focuses on helping our customers reach their “aha moment” faster, whether that’s savings inputs via See & Spray, or reducing operator fatigue with AutoPath – our goal is that we help farmers achieve results faster. We are building experiences that will help reduce friction, increase confidence, and accelerate success for our customers. Your mission will be to shape seamless onboarding and readiness journeys, in-product guidance, and post-season value experiences that help customers achieve measurable ROI out of their technology and help them succeed leveraging our telematics data and John Deere’s Operations Center.
You will:
• Define, validate, and execute a roadmap of onboarding and utilization experiences that help customers achieve their desired outcomes
• Uncover, understand, and validate customer needs into useful and delightful experiences that simplify usage of our tech
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering and marketing teams to ensure products are successful
This position is partially remote but the candidate will need to reside near Chicago, IL, Moline, IL, Des Moines, IA, or Austin, TX.

What Skills You Need
• 3 or more years of experience in a technology product development role, with a track record of shipping multiple features in a fast-paced, iterative environments, balancing speed, quality, and cost
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into your daily business workflow i.e. using LLMs for rapid prototyping, AI-assisted data exploration, AI-assisted PRD creation and validation.
• Demonstrated ability to form logical and well-structured hypothesis and build solutions to test them
• Demonstrated ability to use data analysis tools like SQL, Python to perform hands-on data exploration, root cause analysis, and scripting
• Demonstrated ability to craft strategy documents, business requirements, and go-to-market narratives. Has presented and delivered to senior audiences (Director+)
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative customer insights, conflicting data, and technical input into product strategy
• Proven ability to define and set success metrics
• Experience conducting experiments against a hypothesis
• Ability to leverage advanced discovery methods (Jobs to be done, assumption mapping, etc.) to uncover and validate customer needs
What Makes You Stand Out
• Technically fluent but not a coder – comfortable working engineers and debugging behaviors
• Understanding of the full end-to-end product management requirements to build GenAI features and products (data gathering, evals, measurement)
• You may not know every detail of our Deere tech stack, but you are a quick learner and can apply it to our domain
• Able to collaborate closely with UX to distill complex workflows into usable experiences.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, or similar proven working experience
