One of our companies is currently looking for a Director, Software Engineering in the United States.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned software engineering professional with a strong background in managing distributed teams and delivering complex, high-volume digital products. As Director of Software Engineering, you will lead multiple teams focused on building behavioral health solutions that improve healthcare outcomes through real-time, data-driven technologies. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business leaders to drive strategy, ensure delivery, and promote technical excellence in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and scale multiple distributed software engineering teams across behavioral health product lines
- Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent, including team leads and individual contributors
- Align team deliverables with business objectives and oversee high-quality, timely product releases
- Partner with product and sales teams to define roadmaps and translate customer needs into scalable solutions
- Champion Agile development practices and continuous process improvement across teams
- Drive adoption of cloud-native architecture and ensure adherence to secure, modern SDLC standards
- Act as a change agent and mentor in fostering a high-performance engineering culture
- Monitor key performance metrics and continuously optimize team productivity and system reliability
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering leadership, preferably in healthcare or high-compliance industries
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
- Strong expertise in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
- Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on when needed
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Experience with high-throughput, mission-critical systems and technical project management
- Comfort navigating complex environments with a commitment to collaboration and innovation
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first setting with occasional travel
