Job Description
We're seeking a visionary, strategic, and hands-on Director of Digital Transformation to lead the Asentium's digital evolution. You will be responsible for developing and executing transformation strategies that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business innovation through modern technologies and data-driven approaches.
Please note this role is 12 month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and lead the digital transformation roadmap aligned to the organisation's strategic goals, focusing on elevating the ascentium.com website for lead generation while safeguarding against any adverse impact on other BU websites.
- Partner with C-suite and department heads to identify business opportunities enabled by digital innovation across various business units.
- Champion a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Program & Campaign Execution
- Manage cross-functional digital initiatives across technology, operations, marketing, and customer experience.
- Lead large-scale change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
- Oversee delivery of digital programs and marketing campaigns on time, on budget, and in scope.
- Project manage key digital marketing initiatives by partnering with SEM vendors to optimise paid ads efforts across all BUs, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
- Work with the SEO vendor on website and domain migration projects for all BUs to the Ascentium branded domain.
Technology & Innovation
- Identify emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ABM, Marketing Automation, RPA, cloud, data analytics) that support business transformation.
- Collaborate with IT and external partners to modernise legacy systems and build digital-first capabilities.
- Evaluate, select, and implement platforms and tools that drive operational efficiencies.
Customer & Data-Centric Focus
- Design and implement digital experiences that improve customer engagement and retention
- Elevate the Ascentium website for lead generation while safeguarding against any adverse impact on other BU websites.
- Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making, personalise experiences, and measure performance.
Governance & Reporting
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess transformation impact across the business.
- Regularly report progress to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Proven experience (8–10+ years) in digital transformation, advertising, innovation, or technology leadership.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technologies, agile methodologies, and design thinking.
- Track record of successfully leading cross-functional digital initiatives and culture change.
- Demonstrated expertise in website development, lead generation strategies, and managing SEM and SEO projects to enhance digital marketing performance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and digital program portfolios.
- Background in consulting, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or tech industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Technology/Business/Innovation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or customer experience tools.
- Familiarity with OKRs, Agile/Lean principles, and enterprise architecture.
- Track record of measurable impact in advertising campaign performance
