SALARY RANGE:
$75,000 - $80,000; relocation package available.
HOURS:
8:00am – 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break.

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a self-driven, organized professional who can manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex process issues, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
As a Process Development Engineer, you will work closely with our Technical, Production, and Quality teams to support the rollout of Electromechanical Gravure (EMG) and Digital Printing processes for film and paper products. You will also collaborate with R&D to explore new materials, equipment, and technologies, driving continuous process innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with plastics extrusion, calendaring, converting equipment, and film-to-film lamination—preferably in flexible packaging or a related industry preferred.
- Proven ability to apply engineering principles in a production setting.
- Familiarity with roll-to-roll converting equipment, web handling, and industrial printing processes preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process Design & Development – Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and product quality.
- Equipment Evaluation & Qualification – Assess, test, and qualify new machinery and tools for production use.
- Scale-Up & Technology Transfer – Lead the transition from lab-scale R&D trials to full-scale production, documenting process parameters, developing control plans, and driving strategic technical projects within Operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to support initiatives and ensure smooth process integration.
- Technical Documentation – Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and project updates.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Hands-on experience with extrusion lines, calendar rolls, solvent/solvent-less and adhesive lamination processes.
- Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., MS Visio), equipment layout software (e.g., AutoCAD), and ERP systems such as SAP.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
- Green Belt Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred.
