Job Description

This role will involve working on Cityscape Global, the world's largest real estate exhibition, looking beyond traditional real estate to envision the Future of Living. 

Areas of Focus

  • Stadium Space Sales: Specialize in selling stadium space and products/services related to stadium development, including designers, developers, architects, and consultants.
  • Target Markets: Engage with both international and domestic markets, focusing on high-value sales opportunities.
  • Sales Experience: Preference for candidates with a background in conference sales, specifically for smaller shows with limited marketing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Build and execute a sales strategy for stadium space targeting key stakeholders in the industry.
  • Telesales Focus: Actively engage in telesales activities, demonstrating resilience in a competitive market environment.
  • High-Value Sales: Aim to sell high-value items, ideally in the range of $10k to $100k, rather than lower-value delegate sales.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and contact top prospects, including a targeted list of the top 50 stadium architects, showcasing proactive outreach methods.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure collective achievement of sales targets and share best practices.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain up-to-date customer records, interactions, and transaction details in the CRM system.
  • Proposal Writing: Draft and review business proposals and customer contracts, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on trends and changes in the stadium and event management industry, both locally and internationally.
  • Networking and Events: Attend relevant industry seminars, conferences, and events to nurture relationships and promote the company’s offerings.
  • Personal Development: Proactively develop skills and knowledge in sales excellence, aligning with individual development plans.

Measures of Success:

  • Personal revenue targets
  • Conference portfolio revenue targets
  • New business revenue against target/KPIs
  • Number of net, new logos and new subsidiaries of existing logos
  • Forecasting accuracy
  • Ability to follow process – Salesforce / Forecasting 
  • Pipeline conversion rate
  • Achieve total revenue and profit targets monthly, quarterly and annually in line with New business Sales Strategy,
  • Individual Development plan in place embracing Sales Excellence
  • Work with the Tahaluf team to deliver solutions and share best practices
  • New business/Customer development plan objectives v. achievements

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:

  • Proven track record in exhibition or conference sales, particularly in the real-estate industry
  • Experience selling high-value items
  • Experience selling in international and domestic markets
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in tough market conditions and conduct cold outreach

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Strong research and prospecting skills

  • Paid flight home for individual and end-of-service gratuity payment when leaving the company (if applicable)
