About the role

The Level 2 : IT Engineer: Systems and Cloud Infrastructure plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure, stable, and compliant IT environment. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality IT support and actively contributing to automation and infrastructure initiatives.

Beyond core responsibilities in IT operations, helpdesk, and cybersecurity (including ISO 27001 compliance), this engineer will provide essential support to AI development teams for the deployment of local chatbots and internal tools. The role demands strong infrastructure knowledge, a solid understanding of DevOps principles, and a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration.

What will you do?

Advanced IT Support & Helpdesk

  • Resolve escalated technical support issues related to hardware, software, and systems.
  • Provide support for ERP and business tools (e.g., Odoo), including basic integrations.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and develop user training materials.
  • Assist teams with remote troubleshooting, VPN setup, and mobile device support.

Systems & Infrastructure Management

  • Administer and monitor Windows/Linux servers, network hardware, and virtual machines (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Ensure uptime of internal services, perform patching, and conduct capacity planning.
  • Configure user policies and access controls for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

Cloud Platforms & Billing

  • Administer GCP IAM roles, manage billing profiles, and enforce access governance.
  • Support the deployment of internal AI/automation tools within cloud environments.
  • Track and optimize cloud costs and resource allocation.

Security & ISO 27001 Compliance

  • Manage endpoint protection systems (e.g., Kaspersky Security Center).
  • Maintain evidence and documentation required for audits.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and oversee remediation efforts.

DevOps & AI Development Support

  • Support CI/CD setup and manage lightweight pipelines (e.g., GitHub/GitLab Actions).
  • Assist in configuring and managing Docker environments for internal tools.
  • Help with GPU VM provisioning, data storage, and internal API testing.
  • Collaborate closely with AI and Tech Product teams to troubleshoot infrastructure or deployment issues.
  • Knowledge of: Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm Charts, Docker…

Process Automation

  • Identify IT tasks suitable for automation; write and maintain scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Contribute to the development of internal automation tools by AI/Product teams

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Pulseway, Kuma) and configure alerting thresholds.
  • Produce regular health systems, uptime, and incident reports.

Identity & Access Management

  • Perform regular access reviews and enforce role-based access policies.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding automation and SSO/MFA configuration.

Who are you?

Technical Skills

  • GCP administration, IAM, and billing management.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Endpoint Protection Platforms (e.g., Kaspersky).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, basic Docker, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Pulseway and Kuma.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent cross-team collaboration skills, particularly with developers and data teams.
  • Clear communication and disciplined documentation practices.
  • Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and initiative.
